Fort Pierce Central High School Cobra Nation Annual Poinsettia Luncheon

On Friday, December 12th, the Cobra Café was filled with festive spirit as staff gathered for the annual Cobra Staff Poinsettia Luncheon. The event featured beautifully arranged poinsettias, warm conversations, and a delicious holiday spread prepared by the talented Cobra Culinary team. The menu featured carved roast beef with garlic jus’, carved mojo roaster pork loin with cilantro rice and lime crema, yellow rice, herb and butter roasted vegetables, bacon/cheddar and cheddar smashed red new potatoes, quinoa salad, garlic bread, assorted holiday cupcakes with chocolate pretzel “trees,” and tea.
This year’s luncheon included a heartfelt tribute to Alexie Truong, a senior in the Cobra Culinary program. Alexie’s dedication and creativity have left a lasting impact on the program, and her contributions were celebrated with admiration and gratitude. Guests enjoyed not only the culinary delights but also the sense of community that makes this tradition so special.
The luncheon was a wonderful way to close out the year, honoring both the season and the incredible people who make Cobra Nation thrive. Thank you to Chefs Strell and Swertfager and the entire Cobra Culinary program for their dedication, creativity, and loyalty ever reminding us that Cobra Pride means family. May the holidays bring you joy, peace, and gratitude as you share the moments that make this season special.
