On Wednesday, November 19th, the auditorium at Fort Pierce Central High School opened its doors to the community for an unforgettable evening celebrating the Arts and honoring Veterans. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the inaugural Fine Arts Showcase highlighted the incredible talent and creativity of FPC students across every Fine Arts discipline.

Guests were greeted by National Honor Society volunteers leading to stunning visual art displays in the foyer as well as flanking the auditorium featuring works from our talented student artists in Mrs. Montabana’s drawing/painting, digital art & design I, II, and III-Honors; Ms. Davis’ creative photography I, II, and III-Honors; Mrs. Royo’s drawing/painting I, II, and III-Honors, and yearbook; and Mrs. Avra’s ceramics I, II, and III-Honors classes.

The evening continued with dynamic performances by Ms. Downing’s drama students, expressive dance routines from Ms. Barron’s students, and the precision and flair of the majorettes with Ms. Napoleon. Musical excellence was on full display with the harmonious voices of Mr. Harris and the FPC Chorus, filling the auditorium with energy and emotion as the Jazz Band and Mr. Gabin delivered smooth, upbeat Americana tunes.

The evening included a recognition for those who made the Fine Arts Showcase possible. Student leaders of the Fine Arts organizations were honored for their dedication and creative leadership, alongside the outstanding Fine Arts faculty whose vision brought the event to life. School administrators were acknowledged for their support of the arts, and special thanks were extended to the Treasure Coast Food Bank for their partnership in serving the community and selling Pre-Season Empty Bowls. Finally, the National Honor Society volunteers who contributed their time and energy were celebrated for ensuring the success of this inaugural event. A special thank you to school board member Mrs. Debbie Hawley and FPC’s School Advisory Council for attending the Showcase.

This landmark event united the entire Fine Arts Department in a shared mission: to showcase passion and creativity while paying tribute to the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s service members and their families. More than a series of performances, the showcase became a powerful celebration of artistic talent and a reminder of the arts’ ability to inspire, connect, and honor.
