Fort Pierce Central High School Seniors Enjoy Senior Sports Day

On Friday, October 24, Fort Pierce Central High School hosted its highly anticipated Senior Sports Day. This was a fun-filled event that brought energy, excitement, and Cobra pride to the gym. The seniors dressed in sports attire representing their favorite teams—including the beloved Cobras—enjoyed a variety of athletic and social activities designed to celebrate their final year.

The day kicked off with engaging ball games such as basketball, football toss, and a human-sized Sorry game, followed by an entertaining free-throw contest. Students also enjoyed face painting, board games, and free snacks in the lobby, including nachos, chips, and hot dogs. Music and announcements were provided by the Student Government Association, who served as emcees throughout the event.

The highlight of the day was the competitive volleyball match between seniors and staff. With juniors cheering from the sidelines and cheerleaders adding to the excitement, the seniors triumphed in a thrilling game that capped off the celebration. The event was a huge success, thanks to the collaboration of staff, student leaders, and the supportive Cobra community.
