Fort Pierce Central’s Unified Bowling Debut

Fort Pierce Central High School is proud to announce the launch of its brand-new Unified Bowling Team, which made its debut in Orlando on Thursday, September 24, for their very first competitive meet!

This incredible team is part of Project Unified, a Special Olympics initiative that brings together students with intellectual disabilities and their same-aged peers to compete as teammates. Unified Sports are all about inclusion, teamwork, and friendship, and our Cobra athletes are leading the way in showing what true sportsmanship looks like.

By bowling side by side, these students are not only knocking down pins—they’re also breaking down barriers. The Unified Team is helping to build a more connected and compassionate school community, where every student feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

We are so proud of our athletes and partners for representing FPC with heart, pride, and unity. Their dedication and enthusiasm are inspiring, and we can’t wait to see how far they’ll go this season!

Let’s keep the cheers rolling and show our support for this amazing team. Go Cobras!
