Fort Pierce Central Cobra Battalion Remembers 9/11

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the Fort Pierce Central Cobra Battalion came together to honor and remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. The ceremony served not only as a solemn remembrance of that tragic day, but also as a meaningful reminder of the bravery of first responders, the dedication of our service members, and the resilience of families whose lives were forever changed. Hosting a ceremony of this significance ensures that future generations continue to reflect on the importance of unity, sacrifice, and service to others.

Our cadets led a moving tribute that included the presentation of the colors, a moment of silence, the playing of taps, a performance by the FPC Choir under the direction of Mr. Harris, and reflections on the sacrifices made over the past 24 years in the fight against terrorism.

The ceremony provided an opportunity for our school and community to stand together in remembrance while also affirming our shared responsibility to carry forward the values of courage, discipline, and resilience.

We are incredibly proud of our Cobra Battalion cadets for leading this ceremony with the respect, discipline, and leadership that define Fort Pierce Central. Their dedication ensured that this important day was honored with the dignity it deserves.
