We are proud of our outstanding 4th grade students at Samuel S. Gaines Academy of Emerging Technologies. The pictured students (Leon Cloud Jr, Ivori Young, Raziyah Johnson, Anaila Ponce, Urbaid Rahman & Cynthia Rios) were able to complete and submit entries to Governor Ron DeSantis’ and First Lady DeSantis’ Hispanic Heritage Month essay contest, with the theme “Celebrating Hispanic-American Community Leaders and Champions.” These students have been supported by our amazing 4th grade teachers: Ms. Argote, Ms. Figueredo, Ms. Gleason, and Ms. Young. We are proud of our Colts and look forward to the winners of this contest being announced, as they will receive a 4-Year Florida College Plan scholarship provided by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation.
