ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FL –  St. Lucie Public Schools (SLPS) has continued the positive trends with today’s Department of Education release of school grades. SLPS strengthened its B rating, gaining 38 points to 664 and earning a top third district ranking in the state, now ranked 22nd among districts moving up from 32nd in 2017.  The district is only 1.5%  from an A.  When compared to other districts with more than 20,000 students,  St. Lucie Public Schools ranked 2nd in improvement between 2017 and 2018. Treasure Coast Youth Symphony Awards

The Treasure Coast Youth Symphony, known for its highly successful orchestral training program for young musicians, topped off its greatly successful performance 30th anniversary season with merit scholarship and grant awards to member musicians totaling over $15,000.00. Through the years, the organization has provided more than $125,000 to its young musicians to augment their music education and pursuits.
