Summer PD Opportunity – Online Learning Pathways

Are you interested in increasing your use of technology in your classroom to help engage students?  The Office of Teaching and Learning is excited to provide Online Learning Pathways that you can participate in from the comfort of your own home.  If you would like to learn to use Microsoft tools to enhance your classroom, then choose the online learning pathway that best meets your needs.  We offer a beginner, intermediate and advanced track.  Pathways open in May and close July 20th.  Register online via Frontline at www.mylearningplan.com

“Faith In Literacy” Summer Reading Program

Northport is a very lucky school, and our children are well thought of throughout our community. One of our community partners, First Baptist Church of Port Saint Lucie or 1 PSL Church, collaborated with another Northport community partner, First United Methodist Church of Port St. Lucie, to bring a fabulous summer reading program to our students. PBPA Senior Shantal Mitchell Proud Recipient of Essay Contest Award

Northport Students Move Forward to State History Fair

Northport eighth graders Lily Swantic and Rebekah Papsidero from Andrew Mackenzie’s history class will participate in the state of Florida History Fair in Tallahassee this weekend. The girl’s project was titled “Asylum Reform of 1840.” Congratulations to our girls and best wishes ❤

Port St. Lucie High School Army JROTC Selects New Battalion Commander

On April 26th at 6PM the Port St. Lucie High School Army JROTC Jaguar Battalion hosted their annual Change of Command Ceremony. Relieving the current Battalion Commander of his duty c/LTC Travis Cetin welcomed c/LTC Veronika Patti to command and lead the Battalion on a successful path for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.
