On this month’s episode, Debbie Hawley, (Big Brothers Big Sisters and chairman of the St. Lucie Public Schools School Board) joins Ashley Mock and Sean Boyle to talk about the amazing work her community does for children. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a program that helps children who might lack that bond with others find just the right fit for them. This helps with children feeling connected with someone close to their age and share interest with someone or just find someone they can call a friend and rely on. Many of these Big Brothers Big Sisters bonded moments even last for years after the program has ended, showing how much they really enjoyed one another’s company. Learn more about Debbie Hawley’s Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and all the amazing work that is being done in our district.
