Palm Pointe K‑8 has once again shown what it means to serve the community with heart, teamwork, and a little friendly competition. This year, students and staff participated in the school’s Souper Bowl Challenge, an initiative designed to “tackle hunger” by collecting non‑perishable food items for local families in need. From January 26 through February 6, classrooms across the school rallied together, predicting who would win the Super Bowl while filling collection bins with canned goods, pantry staples, and shelf‑stable items. Brew Crew: Empowering Students Through Purpose Palm Pointe K‑8 is proud to introduce its new Brew Crew Coffee Program, a campus-wide initiative designed to provide select students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences that build confidence, communication, and independence. Our 8th Grade “Reading Wizards” experienced a day of learning magic during Palm Pointe’s Harry Potter-themed ELA intentional review. Palm Pointe K‑8 opened Literacy Week with a well‑attended Big Apple Read to Succeed Family Night at Big Apple Pizza on January 21. The event brought together students and families to celebrate reading, home–school partnership, and community support. Each student selected five complementary books to build a home library, then read alongside a trusted adult and completed a brief book response. The Kids Heart Challenge (formerly known as Jump Rope for Heart) event was held last Friday, February 15th at Palm Pointe K-8.  Coach Piscopo and Coach Santoro were amazing volunteers and do so much to support the American Heart Association mission. Third-graders had a ball bringing idioms to life today! Through creative costumes, props, and presentations, students showed they truly understood phrases that usually mean more than the words themselves. From “raining cats and dogs” to “piece of cake,” their interpretations were clever, colorful, and full of personality. Palm Pointe junior honor society beatufies campus

Palm Pointe Educational Research School @ Tradition recently had a Beautification Day at the school.  JMC Landscaping, St. Lucie County Wal-Mart Stores, Wal-Mart Distribution Center #7038 in Ft. Pierce, Palm Pointe’s Junior National Honor Society, Palm Pointe PTO and maintenance staff all participated in the school beautification project. Everyone picked up trash, pulled weeds and laid mulch.  Approximately 800 bags of mulch were donated by Wal-Mart and some Junior National Honor Society members also donated mulch.  After the work was done, PTO fed all the workers.  Palm Pointe will also be receiving a grant from Wal-Mart’s Volunteerism Always Pays program.  … Read More

Students and staff at Palm Pointe Educational Research School @ Tradition recently enjoyed wearing their favorite team jerseys, an annual fundraising event. Everyone donated $1.00 to help support Big Brothers, Big Sisters’ annual Bowl for Kid’s Sake. Students and staff look forward to helping out this organization every year. 

Palm Pointe Jazz Bands Achieve Superior Rating at District 13 Jazz Band Festival

On Thursday, January 31st, the Jazz Bands from Palm Pointe participated in the Florida Bandmasters District 13 Jazz Band Performance Music Assessment at St. Lucie West Centennial High School where they were evaluated by a panel of three state certified Jazz Adjudicators. We are proud to announce that both bands achieved straight superior ratings, which is the highest possible rating. Congratulations to the Palm Pointe students and staff on this awesome achievement.
