On January 30, 2025, Sheriff Richard Del Toro and members of the Sheriff’s Office had the honor of participating in Literacy Week at Village Green Environmental Studies with Mrs. Fraser-Wittingham’s 3rd class. Students from Mrs. Applebee’s Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) program at Fort Pierce Central High School recently participated in a training day with the St. Lucie County Fire Department. This invaluable experience provided students with the opportunity to complete a variety of educational and simulated training.
