Cobra Pride Mural— A Vibrant Courtyard

Over the summer, the Class of 2028, guided by the creative skills of Katie Avra and the leadership of Darlene Brown, transformed Fort Pierce Central High School’s courtyard with a bold and beautiful new addition—a vibrant Cobra mural that now pulses with color, energy, and meaning. This striking artwork is more than just paint on a wall; it’s a powerful symbol of the strength, spirit, and unity that define Cobra Nation.

Designed to reflect the dynamic identity of our school community, the mural features the iconic Cobra in motion, surrounded by bursts of color that represent diversity, resilience, and pride. Every brushstroke tells a story of collaboration and creativity, as students worked side by side to bring their vision to life.

Students that painted, staff that guided, and Principal Gardner gathered to add their fingerprints to the mural, each one a personal and permanent mark of belonging. These tiny prints, layered like scales on the Cobra itself, representing their dedication and efforts towards completing the mural and the collective pride that binds us together.

As the sun cast its light across the courtyard, the mural stood as a radiant reminder of tradition, teamwork, and the unstoppable Cobra spirit. It now serves not only as a visual centerpiece of our campus, but also as a living testament to the legacy of the Class of 2028 and the enduring power of student voice and artistic expression. Whether passing by on the way to class or pausing to reflect beneath its vibrant colors, students and staff alike will be reminded daily of what it means to be a Cobra—bold, united, and proud.
