Port St. Lucie High School Hosts Practice Raider Meet

  On Saturday October 5, 2019, the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion hosted a practice Raider meet.  This meet is a warm-up for the upcoming Raider season.  The teams got the chance to work together efficiently and effectively while also seeing how well each teammate performed under pressure. The competition consisted of different physical and mental challenges. Port St. Lucie High School proudly hosted a successful CTE Bootcamp on Saturday, April 11, giving students valuable hands-on experience and real-world exposure to careers in construction and the skilled trades. Congratulations to the PSLHS HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) club and their mentor Mrs. Jacklyn Cebelak for their OUTSTANDING success at the HOSA Regional Competition in West Palm Beach! 12 out of 15 students placed and will move forward to the state competition in Orlando this April. Port Saint Lucie High School held its annual senior pinning recently at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center. The Jaguar Battalion presented the colors as part of the opening ceremony. The Color Guard displayed a wonderful presentation of the colors. Port St. Lucie High School Goes to States

On December 3rd the Port St. Lucie High School JROTC Jaguar Battalion Male Raider Team attended the Florida State Raider meet at Camp Flaming Arrow, after achieving 1st place in the Area 3 Raider meet in October. Our Jaguar Battalion competed against the best JROTC programs in Florida in 5 events. Our Jaguar Battalion finished in 4th on a 1.7-mile team run, 5th in a 1-mile Litter carry, 4th in the 30-pound kettlebell carry, 4th in Tire Flip, and 4th in constructing and crossing a rope bridge over a 30-foot distance. The Jaguar Battalion Male Raider Team captured 4th overall.

Port St. Lucie High School Gives Back at Beach Cleanup

Port St. Lucie High School students are stepping up to serve the community in a meaningful way. On Saturday, April 18th, members of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society collaborated for a beach cleanup at Jensen Beach. This special event highlights the shared mission of both honor societies: leadership through service and making a positive impact beyond the classroom. Students spent the day helping protect our local environment, removing litter, and promoting community pride along the Treasure Coast shoreline. The Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion presented the colors for the opening ceremony for the Jaguar baseball game against Fort Pierce Westwood High School. The Color Guard was led by cadet Sergeant Major Robert Hopkins carrying the national flag. Cadet Captain Tyler Lynn carried the state flag while Cadet Captain Ashlee Seipel and Cadet Second Lieutenant Jaffrey Murankus posted as their guards.
