For Music in our Schools Month, I would like to introduce you to F.K. Sweet’s “Blues Brothers Team!” For our Musical Color Wars theme, our Administration and Front Office Staff paid tribute to the Blues Brothers!

F.K. Sweet staff and students were so very excited to wear our favorite hats to honor Dr. Seuss’ book, The Cat in the Hat. The students in Mrs. Langel’s and Mrs. McGuire’s 1st grade class at F.K. Sweet had an awesome time learning about fire safety from the St. Lucie County Fire District!
Third graders in Ms. Davis’ class at F.K. Sweet received a special lunch from Wendy’s for completing all of their homework for the month! Great job third graders!
Happy Fall! Students in Melanie Francisco’s kindergarten class loved working on a unit about apples. They measured, experimented, and used their five senses to investigate them. Jackson Mallonee, Elijah Josheph, Everette Robinson, and Tabitha Smith agreed that the best part of the unit was making homemade applesauce.
F.K. Sweet 2nd graders in Mrs. Lott’s class enjoyed learning about the solar eclipse and loved making models to represent what was happening to the Sun, Moon, and Earth during the eclipse.
The students in Mrs. Ascani’s class at F.K. Sweet learned about creating a healthy and happy classroom environment by making “Friendship Salad!”
