St. Lucie West Centennial Seniors Walk Through the Halls at Manatee Academy

On Wednesday, May 18, a group of graduating seniors from St. Lucie West Centennial High School walked through the halls of Manatee Academy for the first ever high school clap out. Each year our 8th grade students participate in a clap out on their way to their middle school graduation ceremonies but this was the first time with high school seniors.

It was special for the seniors as some of them had once attended Manatee and had the opportunity to come back one last time to see the teachers and staff who helped them get to this point.  It was a memorable experience. For the Manatee students, seeing the seniors in their caps and gowns provided excitement and understanding that with hard work, one day they too will graduate high school and get to have an entire school celebrating their accomplishments.
