Windmill Point Elementary School was visited by storyteller Donna Washington who joined students recently for two special assemblies. Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and SLPS partnered to provide training for employees in the nationally recognized program — Stop the Bleed. Participants were afforded an opportunity for hands-on experiences in how to perform life-saving measures in critical situations.
Stop The Bleed is a nationwide campaign to empower individuals to act quickly to save lives.
