Village Green Environmental Studies School hosted the Environmental Science Expo last weekend to highlight the school’s permaculture garden, square foot gardens, astronomy binoculars, solar lab and microscope center. Fifth grade students took responsibility to orient guests about the variety of plants grown, their origins, and their uses.
Ajah English, 12th grader at Lincoln Park Academy, is the recipient of the ” State of the Jobs” Scholarship in the amount of $800. She is the only recipient from the district.
