These proficient pupils transformed into vocabulary words for an audience of perfectly pleased parents. Students at Floresta Elementary participated in a vocabulary parade showcasing their knowledge of vocabulary words they have read. The whole school paraded down the halls dressed as their favorite vocabulary word.
We had words such as enormous,fancy, mischievous, busybee, headstrong and glitzy.

White City Elementary students participated in a vocabulary parade. WCE students enjoyed this visually amusing event. Students are using their creative skills and learning new words!
The Vocabulary Parade came to Windmill Point Elementary again this year, and the students were invited to dress up to describe their assigned word. Ashli Sivalls, kindergarten student from Tara Nettles’ class, described her word “observe” perfectly with her magnifying glass!
