Bayshore Elementary’s Odyssey of the Mind Team competed on Saturday, February 25, and received 2nd place! The cadets took time to share information about JROTC and their uniforms, and then spent time reading to students. The final reveal of Bayshore Elementary School’s new cafe wall designs were met with excitement and applause! Students and staff are very proud of their new cafeteria and send kudos to Child Nutrition Services and others from the District who supported this grant-funded project.
Bayshore Elementary hosted its annual Literacy Night during Celebrate Literacy Week. Students and families had a great time learning about literacy while participating in literacy games and activities. Second grade student, Tyler Jennings, and his mom, Karen Jennings, worked together to set a literacy goal for Tyler while learning about additional resources at the event.
