Lorri Rudzinski’s second grade class at Palm Pointe Educational Research School @ Tradition completed a Thinking Map flee map using the Common Core standard of demonstrating understanding of characters, setting and plot using the 7 Habits of Happy Kids. The Fairlawn Elementary students and staff held their second annual “Think Pink” Day to raise money and awareness for cancer on October 2nd. Students enjoyed wearing pink clothing items for $1.00 each while supporting an important cause, raising almost $800. All funds raised by Fairlawn will be presented to local organizations at the Pink Heals Tour event…Details
Third grade classes at Allapattah Flats are excited about Positive Behavior Support! The students that have earned 10 Gator Bucks are looking forward to a movie and popcorn party. Twenty one F.K .Sweet Elementary third graders students participated in the recent spelling bee. After 18 rounds of challenging words, the winners were finally declared.
