Bayshore Elementary Odyssey team places second at competition

Odyssey of the Mind teams from Bayshore Elementary School recently competed in regional competitions.  Odyssey of the Mind is an international education program that provides creative problem solving opportunities for students. Bayshore Elementary Open House welcomes families

Bayshore Elementary School’s Open House was a great success. Families had an opportunity to meet teachers and staff members. Families were also provided assistance in the computer labs to find their children’s bus and lunch information. Pictured is the Barbot family, from left, Juan, Emlio and Doris, with second grade teacher Carol Galloway discussing the upcoming school year.

Bayshore Elementary School students participate in readers program

Bayshore Elementary School students in third, fourth and fifth grade are participating in the Sunshine State Young Readers Awards Program.  This is a statewide program that is designed to motivate students to read high interest, contemporary literature.  Pictured is Cassandra Fess’ third grade student Sergio Miranda showing off the sunshine he earned after reading Beastologist.
