On Friday, November 6th, seniors from the Marine and Oceanographic Academy traveled to Lakewood Park Elementary to put on an anti-bullying skit for the students. At Mariposa Elementary’s book fair, many students benefited from a special donation from two brothers, Antonio Delatorre and Alejandro Delatorre. The brothers each donated $10 along with a letter they individually wrote indicating that they would like the money to benefit students who cannot afford a book. A fourth grade student at Mariposa Elementray, Mateo Villegas, was celebrated for receiving a perfect score on his 3rd grade math FSA test. Mr. Logue and all of the administration and staff at Mariposa are extremely proud of his accomplishment!
