The Jaguar Battalion Excels at States

On Saturday, April 15th, the Port Saint Lucie High School JROTC Jaguar Battalion competed in the Florida State Drill meet at George Jenkins High School after placing 1st in the Area 3 Drill Meet in Jupiter. Our Female and Male teams competed against 120+ of the best JROTC programs in the state of Florida. We competed in Unarmed/Armed Squad, Unarmed/Armed Platoon, Solo, Dual, Squad, and Platoon Exhibition Drill. The competition went fantastic as the Port Saint Lucie High School JROTC Jaguar Battalion managed to achieve multiple top 10 finishes and finish the JROTC drill season on a positive note.

Jaguar Battalion Continues to Save Lives

On Wednesday, March 29th, the Port Saint Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion conducted our final Blood Drive of the school year. With help from our Cadets, we were able to run the Blood Drive smoothly and efficiently. Thanks to our Cadets, members of One Blood as well as our teachers and staff here at Port Saint Lucie High School, we were able to collect enough blood to save over 200+ lives.

Jaguars Reign Supreme at Drill State Qualifier

Jaguar Battalion Monthly Promotion Board

On the 26th and 27th of October 2022, the JROTC Jaguar Battalion held their monthly Cadet Promotion Board. During this, selected cadets throughout all companies are asked a series of questions that test their general knowledge on what they have learned in JROTC, their ability to recite our Cadet Creed, the ability to wear the proper uniform, and conducting certain drill movements. They must meet these requirements to receive a promotion to a higher rank. Port St. Lucie High School Qualifies for States!!!

The Port St. Lucie High School Army JROTC Jaguar Battalion attended the Area 3 Regional State Qualifying Raider Meet at Camp Tanah Keeta. The event was hosted by Jupiter High School, on October 29, for the right to represent Area 3 in the State Meet. The raider competition consisted of 5 events: a 2.2-mile team run, 1-mile litter carry, 35-pound kettlebell carry, tire flip, and constructing and crossing a rope bridge. Jaguar Battalion Opens with Colors for PGA Event

On Monday the 31st of October, the Port St. Lucie High School JROTC Jaguar Battalion conducted a Color Guard for the Professional Golfers Association at their golf course in Port St. Lucie. Our cadets opened the ceremony with the national anthem sung by Dave Bray. The event was a fundraiser from Caddies for the Cure and organized with local wounded Veterans. PSLHS NHS Color Guard

On Thursday, October 20th, 2022, the PSLHS Jaguar Battalion presented the colors at the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony. Commanding the Color Guard was National Flag Bearer Cadet Major Eric Smith accompanied by Cadet Sergeant Jayda Whiteman as State Flag Bearer, Cadet Corporal Ryan Lewis as right Guard, and Cadet First Sergeant Jeremiah Davis as left Guard.

PSLHS Helps Save Lives!

On Wednesday, September 14th, the Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion executed their first Blood Drive of the year. PSLHS Jaguar Battalion Shines!

On Saturday, September 10th, 2022, the Port St. Lucie High School JROTC Jaguar Battalion conducted their first car wash of the school year at O’Reilly’s located off of US-1. Cadets were placed in different teams such as the wash team, dry team, and sign holding teams. It was a great success and a good way for our first-year cadets to see how we give back to our community.
