TCHS Titan Ambassadors Treat Windmill Point Students to Shopping Spree!

TCHS Titan Ambassadors Treat Windmill Point Students to Shopping Spree!

On Monday, December 16th, the Titan Ambassadors from TCHS took several Windmill Point Elementary students to Target to spread holiday cheer and help them shop for gifts for themselves and their family. The students were gifted a $100 gift card, and the students were paired up with a Titan Ambassador to help them shop.  The students were treated to a fun bus ride to and from the event, where they sang holiday songs and bonded with the high schoolers. They also enjoyed lunch from Chick-Fil-A!   The Titan Ambassadors worked hard to fundraise for the event, and the students of Windmill Point made life long memories, made new friends, and with the presents they purchased are now sure that their family will have a wonderful holiday!

WEST Prep Selected as a Finalist in the STEM Excellence awards

WEST Prep Selected as a Finalist in the STEM Excellence awards

The Steam Advocates, with the help of several teachers and students, applied for an international award from the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) in “STEM Excellence.”  They have been selected as 1 of 3 high school finalists from across the country! This is an amazing accomplishment for Fort Pierce Westwood Academy: The WEST Prep Magnet. The faculty and staff are dedicated to the implementation of the STEAM school initiatives and this award would not be possible without their hard work for our students’ success.

Below is the link to the video portion of our application.
