Career and Technical Education (CTE) collaborated with the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County (EDC), and Treasure Coast Manufacturers Association to host the Fall School Guidance Counselor’s Bus Tour. This tour offered St. Lucie Public School’s Guidance Counselors, Graduation Coaches, and CTE Educators the opportunity to hear from local businesses and create a pipeline for their students interested in manufacturing, technical design, and culinary. Stops on the tour included Builders FirstSource, Indian River Select, Sunshine Kitchen, Aviator College, and Aquaco to get a better sense of expectations and demand for potential employees in the industry.
