Northport K-8 Celebrates National School Library Week

Northport K-8 Celebrates National School Library Week

April is designated as National School Library Month! Northport 9/11 Children’s Memorial Library is a tribute to the learning and achievement that occurs on a daily basis at our school. Please help us celebrate our library by giving a salute to the research, books checked in and out daily, and the many programs that happen in the media center to extend and promote knowledge and learning. We promote free choice in reading, and librarians are always on hand to promote the love of good books. Our services and programs are planned and ALWAYS reflect the love of our students. We mindfully plan for the teaching of citizenship, service, empathy, kindness, commitment, respect and integrity. Please thank a public school librarian/media specialist every chance you get!
