Creative Arts Academy of St. Lucie Hosts Vero Beach Film Festival Founder

Creative Arts Academy of St. Lucie (CAST) students learned the history of the Vero Beach Film Festival (VBFF) as well as how they may be the next scholarship prize winner.
Earlier this month, CAST members were delighted to meet and experience Jerusha Stewart, Founder and Executive Director of the acclaimed VBFF. Ms. Stewart shared with the middle school filmmaking students how they could submit their films to be considered for the VBFF 2019 Festival coming up on June 6 – 9 and urged them to submit early and correctly for their chance to win an all-expense paid trip to shadow an acclaimed director on set.

Rockets Celebrate 100 Days at Palm Pointe

Palm Pointe kindergarten and first grade students came all decked out to celebrate the 100th day of school.  Boys and girls were seen using their walkers and canes to get around school today as they were dressed as 100 year old ladies and gentlemen.  Some of the students took the time to create shirts with 100 items on them.  Wow, are these students creative!   They were all thrilled to celebrate their 100 days of learning thus far.
