Port St. Lucie’s Drill Team Attends 1st Competition of the Season!

On Friday, January 18, 2019, Port St. Lucie High School Jaguar Battalion’s Army JROTC Drill Team attended the Santaluces Community High School Army JROTC drill meet in Lantana, FL. Cadets competed in male and female squads and color guard. Out of eight schools, Port St. Lucie ranked in first place overall.  The Jaguars’ female unarmed squad commanded by Cadet Major Joleen Kalinowski placed first, the female armed squad commanded by Cadet Captain Alexis Morris placed third, and the female color guard commanded by Cadet Captain Brianna Harris placed third as well.  The team’s  male unarmed squad commanded by Cadet Captain Jonathan Nunez placed third, and the male Color guard commanded by Cadet Sergeant first class placed first.
