Florida Tobacco Cessation Alliance Silver Award

Florida Tobacco Cessation Alliance Silver Award

We thank Stacy Donnelly, our Wellness Manager for helping St. Lucie Public Schools stay focused on healthier habits.  At March’s School Board Meeting, Marsha Jaquays, Executive Director for the American Lung Association, presented the Silver Level Award to the School Board and Superintendent E. Wayne Gent on behalf of the Florida Tobacco Cessation Alliance.  This award recognizes the overall efforts to help employees break their nicotine addiction and adopt a healthier lifestyle.

*This award is based on the Public Health Services Clinical Practice Guidelines on “Treating Tobacco Use and Dependence.” Florida Tobacco Cessation Alliance has set up an award system for GOLD and SILVER level standards for comprehensive tobacco cessation benefits.
