Savanna Ridge Elementary Young Author class winners in Kindergarten through fifth grade were recognized and celebrated at an ice cream sundae social. Students enjoyed sharing a special treat with fellow Young Author winners and talking about their winning books they wrote. They were presented with a certificate from Mrs. Melrose, Assistant Principal, on behalf of the Literacy Committee. The following students are representing Savanna Ridge at the 2016 St. Lucie County Reading Council’s Young Authors Celebration on May 21st!
Fourth graders at Savanna Ridge Elementary took part in a math fluency fact challenge. Those who met the math fluency expectations in each class got to eat their lunch outside with the Assistant Principal, Mrs. Melrose, and were treated to cupcakes. Way to go fourth grade math superstars!
