Cris Martinez’s Weather School Comes to REE

The 5th graders at Rivers Edge Elementary were honored to have Cris Martinez of Channel 25 News Weather Team host his Weather School on Wednesday, December 3. He used our very own students to explain how a tornado works and what happens when a cold and warm front collide. Our 5th graders welcomed Mr. Martinez with a song they had written about hurricanes.

Weatherbee Hosts Breakfast With Santa

Principal Michael Hitsman and Assistant Principal Jen Avellino welcome Santa Claus to Weatherbee on Saturday, December 5th.  Students and their families who attended the annual Breakfast with Santa event enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast, face painting, shopping at the PTO Holiday Shoppe, and getting their picture taken with the jolly old elf himself!

Palm Pointe Participated in Star Wars Concert

On Saturday, December 5, the Jazz Band under the direction of  Band Director Jason Hatfield from Palm Pointe Educational Research Center @ Tradition participated in All County Music’s Star Wars Day celebration in Tamarac, Florida.  Students dressed in Star Wars shirts and played themed music in a benefit concert for children in need.
