Students at Palm Pointe Educational Research School @ Tradition participated in a Mismatch Day sponsored by the P.B.I.S. (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) program. Students used their earned rocket fuel for good behavior in the classroom to be able to dress mismatched. Lakewood Park Elementary was nominated and awarded a $500.00 grant from the local Exxon/Mobil location. The award was presented to the faculty by JP Snead Brand, Manager for Southeast Petro Distributors, Inc., which is a part of Exxon Mobil. This money is provided to enhance instruction in the areas of math and science. Lakewood Park Elementary would like to say thanks for this great honor and the funds will be used wisely. Go Falcons!!
