In the course of just one day, we can find many things to be thankful for…if we only take the time.
The students and staff in Mrs. Hill’s ASD room at Samuel Gaines Academy have adopted and set aside the month of November to display an attitude of gratitude. To show their thankfulness, the students (under the artistic direction of Ms. Pattie Morse) created a wall of gratitude which is on display outside their classroom.
The wall is adorned with “Give Thanks” wreaths and a hand-made patchwork quilt depicting what the students are thankful for.
