Over 100 Allied Health Students from SLWCHS, TCHS and FPWHS participated in the Future Healthcare Professionals Conference derived from the Healthcare Roundtable for St. Lucie and Martin Counties. Students had a chance to learn soft skills, financial aid options, task management and overall were able to acquire knowledge on their pathway to becoming a healthcare provider. Students were exposed to vendors from various healthcare industries such as Treasure Coast Hospice, Martin Memorial, Midway Specialty Care, and ABC Medical. March is nationally recognized as Music in Our Schools Month.  St. Lucie Public Schools appreciates and values the the role of music in education and recognizes that it can play a multifaceted part in the life of a student and has the power to inspire and transform.  Likewise, music education has a positive impact on student development and academic achievement.    Southport Middle School students performed at the February School Board Meeting.
